The Magic Shop

Book Cover & Layout Redesign (2020)

“The Magic Shop” is a short story by H. G. Wells, first published in 1903. The story is narrated by the father of a young boy named Gip, and tells of their visit to a shop selling disturbingly realistic magical illusions.

 

Since the story is over one hundred years old, so I redesigned the book in the style of vintage wood type poster in the 19th century to better convey the story in an artistic way.
